This was a fun revenge story. It takes place in Terrytown, New York. The main character, Mia’s, husband is distant and neglectful. He’s rarely home and when he is, he’s distracted. Early on in the novel, we find out that Jack, her husband, has been cheating on her. When she talks to his ex-wife about it, they realize it has been going on for almost 7 years. Mia wants revenge. With her two best friend and his ex-wife, Karen, they plan to take him down. They organize an elaborate plan to get his mistress, Sasha, in on it.

Using the hair salon Vic and Tina own, Mia’s photography skills, and Karen experience in marketing, they convince Sasha, a model, that she has been chosen for a spot to compete for a new magazine cover. They get her to come to salon and get her kinda drunk, finding out about her boyfriend. After she brings him up, Mia gets a little upset. Finally everything comes out in the open. Sasha agrees to help them.

Using photographs of his infidelity, they plan to expose him at him promotion party.

During all of this, her friend Aaron is a constant. And the other man who comes into her life, doesn’t stay as long. There are only 2 actual steamy scenes in this book.

This was so much fun to read. It was so hard to put down. I loved every second of this. There were a lot of moments where it wasn’t the best, but it was always fun. Even though we had so unrealistically stupid moments, that was the point. No one wants to read a realistic revenge novel. They aren’t as much fun. The plot was good. It was well planned out and spaced nicely. It wasn’t to fast and didn’t drag at all. I don’t read a lot of books like this, but I am so glad I gave this one a try. I am definitely going to look into other books by Bria. If her other books are as goo das this one, I am sure I will love them.

*Edit 08/21/15* I just found out this is part of a 5 book series. I may do a separate review for some of the other books, but I will definitely do a full series review.

Novel Question: What would you do if you found out your husband was cheating on you? Would you just slap him with a divorce or would you try to humiliate him first?
